Rebecca Rogers Nelson

Rebecca Rogers Nelson began her career as an actress in NYC with numerous credits in TV and Film. Rebecca is the screenwriter and producer of the award-winning feature film, TEXAS REIN, produced by Beautiful Feet Productions and released by SONY Pictures Home Entertainment.

Rebecca has also won multiple screenwriting awards for her screenplays. PONY ISLAND RUN is the winner of the Virginia Governor’s Screenwriting Competition; THE HOME GAME is the winner of the Maryland Film Festival; and winner of the Richmond International Film Festival, AN UNLIKELY ANGEL, was produced by Beautiful Feet Productions and will be released summer 2022.

As an actress, Rebecca played a lead role as the wife of Kirk Cameron in the Kendrick Brothers’ movie, LIFEMARK, slated for released fall of 2022. She also played a lead role in the award-winning film, BADGE OF FAITH.

On the home front, Rebecca and Durrell are passionate about adoption and raising awareness for the plight of “homeland orphans.” Four of their five children were adopted through the US foster system.

Durrell Nelson

During his thirty years in the film business, Durrell has worked as a director, actor, writer, and producer. His credits as director and producer include the feature films AN UNLIKELY ANGEL and TEXAS REIN.

His credits as a professional SAG actor include DROP DEAD DIVA, KILLING LINCOLN, JAG, AN AMERICAN CAROL, X-FILES, GENERAL HOSPITAL and MELROSE PLACE.

Durrell is also an award-winning screenwriter and recipient of the prestigious Jerome Lawrence Award for his stage play FALLING LIGHTLY. His screenplay, THE HOME GAME, took first prize at the Maryland Film Festival in 2010.

Durrell holds a Masters of Professional Writing from the University of Southern California and an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte.

Durrell is producer and co-owner of Beautiful Feet Productions with his wife, Rebecca.
