JAKE MCALLISTER is a pro baseball player living the life that other men only dream of; beautiful wife, expensive cars, amazing house and endorsements for unending financial bliss. But, he’s on probation more than he is on the field and because of his reckless actions, he loses his pro ball contract, his endorsements, and is about to lose his marriage. He is assigned community service, 200 hours coaching a rag tag group of foster boys. Through his work with the boys, he begins to deal with his own shattered past and learns what it really means to be “in the game”.
