Writer / Director / Producer / Actor

Rebecca began her career as an actress in NYC.  She’s a SAG member with more than 50 national and regional commercials as well as TV and film roles to her credit.  Most recently, she was cast in the  CW pilot, COMPANY TOWN, directed by Taylor Hackford.

After a long stint in The Big Apple, Rebecca shifted focus to the other side of the camera with directing and writing taking career focus. She has written and directed several commercials and has won awards for her short films. Rebecca is the screenwriter and producer of the soon-to-be-released movie TEXAS REIN.  She has won multiple screenwriting awards: PONY ISLAND RUN is the winner of the Virginia Governor’s Screenwriting Competition at the 2002 Virginia Film Festival; THE HOME GAME is the winner of the Maryland Film Festival 2010; and WAKING IN SOUTHPORT is the winner of the Richmond International Film Festival 2013. Rebecca is owner and producing partner of Beautiful Feet Productions.

Durrell is director and producer
of the movie TEXAS REIN.
During his thirty years in the film business, Durrell has worked as a writer, actor, director, and corporate executive. His credits as a SAG actor includes DROP DEAD DIVA, KILLING LINCOLN, JAG, AN AMERICAN CAROL, X-FILES, GENERAL HOSPITAL and MELROSE PLACE. Durrell garnered an LA Weekly Theatre Award Nomination for Best Leading Male Performance in Horton Foote’s HABITATION OF DRAGONS.

Durrell is a recipient of the prestigious Jerome Lawrence Award for his play FALLING LIGHTLY. His play SILENT NIGHT, STILLE NACHT (A Soldier’s Song) opened to rave reviews December 2002 in Los Angeles and his screenplay, THE HOME GAME, took first prize at the Maryland Film Festival in 2010.

Durrell holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte, a Masters of Professional Writing from the University of Southern California and is a summa cum laude graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance from Woodbury University.
In 1993, Durrell joined the Development Division of RKO Pictures and within two years moved into the business side of RKO and spent seven years as Director of Finance for two divisions of the company. He is now producer and co-owner of Beautiful Feet Productions with his wife, Rebecca.
